HOW TO PLAY
Two ships orbit a deadly star. Destroy your opponent before gravity claims you both.

THE STAR
The star in the center has a gravity well that pulls everything toward it — your ship, your opponent, and all missiles. Fly too close and you'll be destroyed. The star grows larger and its gravity increases with each kill and refill, making each round progressively more dangerous.
MISSILES
You start with 18 missiles. They are affected by gravity and will curve toward the star, so aim accordingly. Missiles wrap around the edges of the arena (like your ship) and last for 3 seconds before expiring.
Opposing missiles can destroy each other! Head-to-head volleys will cancel out, so timing and angles matter.
Watch out for your own missiles! Missiles wrap around the arena and can hit you after a brief grace period. Be careful firing toward the edges.
Missiles refill for both players when all missiles are spent (both ships at zero AND no missiles in flight). That tense pause while the last few missiles expire? That's by design.
FUEL
You start with 250 fuel. Thrusting consumes fuel. When you run out, you drift on momentum alone — no braking, no dodging. Fuel refills for both players when both ships hit empty. Conserve fuel early; spend it wisely in dogfights.
HYPERSPACE
Hyperspace teleports you to a random location with zero velocity — a desperate escape from missiles or the star. But there's a catch: 25% chance of instant death each time you use it. Use it as a last resort, not a routine maneuver.
SCORING & DEATH PENALTY
You earn a point whenever your opponent dies — regardless of how. Missile hit, sun death, hyperspace malfunction, self-hit, or collision all count. The score is displayed at the top center.
Each death costs you: 10% of your max fuel and 1 missile. Dying repeatedly drains your resources, making each respawn harder. Stay alive to keep your advantage.
ARENA
The arena wraps in all directions (torus topology). Fly off the right edge and you appear on the left. Same for top/bottom. Missiles wrap too. There are no walls — only the star is deadly terrain.
